Welcome back to The Daily Spirit. Thursday, December 4th. Five minutes of spirit-filled encouragement to start your day.
Opening Hook
I caught up with my friend Zakk yesterday.
We met a few years back through the crypto space. He always stood out to me. Soulful guy. Deep thinker. Great engineer.
He's had a bunch of different projects over the years.
He was telling me about this business he wants to acquire. Something he could develop and scale. And as he talked about it, I could see the spark in his eyes. The joy.
To find this company, he had to dive deep into the financials of dozens of companies, thinking about their business models. He said he used to do something like this years ago and loved it. And it's been a while since he felt that flow.
I'm watching him light up. And I'm thinking: God creates people so specifically.
Scripture & Core Message
Jeremiah 1:5: "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee."
Before you were born. He already knew.
All those stints you've had. Jobs that didn't work out. Projects that fizzled. Seasons that felt like wandering. Don't rule out that God had a plan for every single one. All of it shaping you. Preparing you.
Exhortation
If you're between things right now. Unemployed. Uncertain.
Look ahead. Be grateful for who you've become. Charge forth every day.
Believe that what you're meant to do is right around the corner. It won't be easy. The closer you get to your purpose, the more resistance you'll face. But have faith. Your path is meaningful. When you're facing friction, you might be exactly where you need to be.
Lean on Him more.
Affirmations
Let's speak some truth over your purpose. I'll say it, you repeat.

God knew me before I was born.
I was created for a specific purpose.
My path is not wandering. It is preparation.
The right door will open at the right time.
I trust God's timing over my own.
I am exactly where I need to be.
