Episode 00011: You Will Write Your Vision, Make It Plain
December 15, 2025
Greeting
Welcome back to The Daily Spirit. Monday, December 15th, 2025. Five minutes of spirit-filled encouragement to start your week.
Opening Hook
Do you have an idea you've been excited about but haven't moved on?
Maybe you've talked about it with friends. Maybe you've thought about it in the shower. But when it comes to actually doing something about it—you freeze. Because you don't see the path. It feels too big. Too vague. Too far away.
I get it. It's easy to get excited about ideas. It's harder to make them real.
Scripture & Core Message
Habakkuk 2:2: "Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, so that a runner may read it."
Write it down. Make it plain. So plain that someone RUNNING can still read and get it.
There's something powerful about articulating your vision. Not just thinking about it. Not just feeling it. But declaring it. Writing it. Making it concrete.
In Genesis, God spoke the world into existence. "God said, let there be light"—and there was light. Before anything was created, there was declaration. When you speak what God put on your heart, you're mobilizing something. You're quickening the inevitable.
The Story
Recently, I've been helping friends with something fun. Different friends of mine want to start schools. But it felt overwhelming to them. They couldn't see the path from here to there.
So I helped them create websites for schools that don't exist yet. Written from the perspective of 2030. Imagining how they got to significant traction over the past five years.
Suddenly, the vision wasn't vague anymore. It was plain. They could see it. They could share it. They could rally people around it.
And most importantly—they could rally themselves around it.
Exhortation
Here's my encouragement to you today.
We're approaching the end of the year. This is the perfect time to write your vision and make it plain.
What's that idea you've been sitting on? That business? That project? That ministry? That next chapter?
Don't just think about it. Write it down. Make a document. Create a one-pager. Use a tool like Replit or Cursor to build a mock landing page for something that doesn't exist yet. Imagine it's 2030 and you're looking back at how it all came together.
This isn't just a productivity hack. It's a faith exercise. You're declaring what God put on your heart before you can see how it happens.
God rewards clarity. And He rewards the faith it takes to articulate your vision out loud.
Affirmations
Let's speak some truth over your vision. I'll say it, you repeat.
[Pause after each for repetition]
I write my vision and make it plain.
My words have power.
I declare what God put on my heart.
I see the future clearly.
I rally myself around my calling.
The right people see the vision and support me in making it real.
Closing
That's it for today.
Write it down this week. Make it plain. Share it with someone you trust.
God is with you. Talk tomorrow.
