Episode 00021: You Will Trust In What God Has For You
December 31, 2025
Greeting
Welcome back to The Daily Spirit. Wednesday, December 31st, 2025. Five minutes of spirit-filled encouragement to start your day.
Opening Hook
You're standing at the edge of a new year. And maybe you don't have it all figured out.
Maybe you thought by now you'd have more clarity. More certainty. A clearer picture of what 2026 is going to look like.
I'm right there with you.
Scripture
Isaiah 40:31: "But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don't get tired, they walk and don't lag behind."
That's the promise. Not that you'll have all the answers. But that if you wait on Him, your strength will be renewed.
Personal Touch
I'll be honest. My life is not where I imagined it would be.
But God has led me to where I am today. I'm saved, baptized, and surrounded by more and more soulful people. Walking a path I never expected.
There's been many times when I've wanted to give up. That voice creeps in. Maybe you know it too.
But giving up makes no sense. Because God has a plan for me. For you. As long as we don't give up.
God does not reveal everything to you immediately. He's not obligated to show you the full picture. He wants you to take a faith walk. He wants you to trust Him. He wants you to keep putting one foot in front of the other even when the path isn't clear.
Gratitude
So on this last day of 2025, I want to emphasize gratitude.
On my end, I'm grateful for my health.
I'm grateful for my friends. Like my friend Dawson, who's helping inch The Daily Spirit toward something more people can enjoy. Right now you're in the alpha. You're the early believers. And I'm grateful you're here.
I'm grateful for the mentors God put in my life this year. Travis. Santy. Mikey. Brenda. Ida. Delmar. People who poured into me. People who spoke life. And immersed in all this goodnes, I give all credit to God.
Core Message
Here's what I want you to walk into 2026 knowing.
When you're out of answers, trust that God will give you the idea you need. When you need direction, trust that He will send the right mentor your way. When you feel stuck, trust that He will make a way. That's who He is. That's what He does.
So let Him know you're grateful.
And trust that 2026 will be the year of supernatural provision that you've been waiting for.
Exhortation
If you're going to have one New Year's resolution, let it be this:
To trust more in the Lord. To lean less on your own understanding. And to never give up.
Because God is your co-founder. He's your partner. He has your back.
So go into 2026 with deep gratitude. With expectation. With faith.
Affirmations
Let's speak some truth over 2026. I'll say it, you repeat.
[Pause after each for repetition]
I trust in the Lord.
I do not lean on my own understanding.
I will not give up.
God is my co-founder.
I am grateful for where God has led me so far.
2026 is a year of supernatural provision.
Closing
That's it. Last episode of 2025.
We're going to take a break for the New Year weekend. I'll be back Monday, January 5th.
If you're heading out tonight, stay safe. Look out for each other.
Happy New Year, friend. I'm grateful for you. God is with you. See you in 2026.

The Only Resolution You Need For 2026
You don't need a perfect plan for 2026. You need faith.
"But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don't get tired, they walk and don't lag behind."
— Isaiah 40:31 (MSG)
God doesn't reveal everything immediately. He's not obligated to show you the full picture. He wants you to take a faith walk. He wants you to trust Him.
I'll be honest: my life is not where I imagined it would be. But God has led me to where I am today. I'm saved, baptized, and surrounded by soulful people. There's been many times when I've wanted to give up. That voice creeps in. But giving up makes no sense. Because God has a plan for me. For you. As long as we don't give up.
So on this last day of 2025, I'm choosing gratitude. Grateful for my health. Grateful for friends like Dawson who are helping this ministry grow. Grateful for the mentors who poured into me this year.
When you're out of answers, God comes through. When you need an idea, He gives you the idea. That's who He is.
If you've been in scarcity, keep trusting. 2026 is a year of supernatural provision.
One resolution: Trust in the Lord. Lean not on your own understanding. And do not give up.
Your Affirmations For Today:
- I trust in the Lord.
- I do not lean on my own understanding.
- I will not give up.
- God is my co-founder.
- I am grateful for where God has led me so far.
- 2026 is a year of supernatural provision.
God is with you today.
Taking a break for the New Year weekend. Back Monday, January 5th. If you're heading out tonight, stay safe.
Happy New Year.
Love,
Gary
