Episode 00007: Godly Ambition

December 10, 2025

Greeting

Welcome back to The Daily Spirit. Wednesday, December 10th, 2025. Five minutes of spirit-filled encouragement to start your day.

Opening Hook

Have you ever wondered if it's okay for a Christian to be ambitious?

Like, really ambitious. Leave-it-all-on-the-field ambitious. Build something that changes the world ambitious.

Some people will tell you that's not godly. That ambition is pride. That you should be content with small.

I disagree.

Scripture & Core Message

Matthew 25:21: "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness.'"

"Well done, good and faithful servant."

That's what I want to hear when I get to Heaven's gates. And in my view, you don't get there by phoning it in.

John D. Rockefeller—the man who revolutionized the oil industry and became one of the wealthiest people in history—wrote a letter to his son. He said: "A person must have goals or ambitions to live, otherwise he is like a ship without a rudder, drifting forever."

He also said: "I often remind myself to not make any small plans, because it cannot inspire the soul."

That's kingdom wisdom.

If God is calling you to build something massive—to revolutionize an industry, to transform your community, to channel your wealth toward His purposes—you better act accordingly.

Exhortation

Here's the thing. Your calling is bigger than you're probably imagining right now.

But you don't have to do it alone.

This isn't about hustling yourself into the ground. It's about fully leaning on God as your co-founder. Your partner. Your co-strategist. Somebody you bring into every decision.

When you operate that way, ambition isn't pride. It's obedience.

So channel that godly ambition. Your goals might look different than Rockefeller's. But go all in today. Go all in this week. Finish this year strong.

You might be saved regardless. But the riches in Heaven? The "well done"? That comes from taking every day seriously.

Affirmations

Let's speak some truth over your ambition. I'll say it, you repeat.

[Pause after each for repetition]

My ambition is godly.

I do not make small plans.

God is my greatest business partner.

I will hear "well done, good and faithful servant."

I give it my all today.

I will finish this year strong.

Closing

That's it for today.

Go get after it. God created you to pursue your calling with everything you got.

Talk tomorrow.
