Divine Patterns: God's Blueprint for Predictable Possibilities

Core Definition and Framework

Divine Pattern: "The partnering or combination of godly principles that produces predictable possibilities."

Key Quote: "Divine pattern is a preeminent or best or excellent pathway that produces predictable possibilities... A divine pattern is a combination of godly principles that leads us to expected exceptional results."

Fundamental Truth: "Divine patterns precedes divine deliveries... Anytime the god of the bible demonstrates his power or his goodness it's because a divine pattern has been followed throughout the pages of scripture and through church history."

Essential Prerequisites for Discovering Divine Patterns

1. Devotion to the Divine

Quote: "Devotion to the divine leads to detailed discoveries of divine patterns... Divine patterns are not cheap divine patterns do not just roll out in a person's life we only discover them we only gain depth of understanding about them when we are devoted to the divine that is to god."

2. Consistent Dependence on the Spirit

Quote: "Consistent dependence on the spirit of the divine releases passion and power to follow through divine patterns... The ability to follow that pattern the ability for the pattern to roll out in our lives flows from the spirit of the divine."

3. Receiving God's Love and Life

Quote: "Receiving the love and the life of the divine positions a person on the path of divine patterns... If a person does not receive the love and the life of god the person is outside the path of divine patterns."

The Universal Nature of Divine Patterns

Powerful Insight: "Divine patterns is no respecter of persons places of period... Any person who follows a divine pattern in any place at any time any period is guaranteed predictable possibilities."

Historical Example: "Daniel is in exile and four generations of kings he was still the advisor the glory of god break forth right in babylon wicked kings submerged themselves in his presence listening to godly advice and wisdom it was not the place the period or the persons there but it was a play out of divine patterns in the life of a person."

Why Believers Fail: The Three Root Causes

Critical Teaching: "Every failure every failure in the life of a child of god or a human being every failure in the life of a child of god or a human being is traceable by number one ignorance of divine patterns... number two giving up on divine patterns... or total disregard to divine patterns."

The Scripture Pattern for Faith and Peace

Abundance of Grace and Peace Formula

Quote from 2 Peter 1:2: "Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of god and jesus christ... If you want abundance of grace and peace you need the knowledge of god and jesus christ... The abundance of that the increase of that will come through the knowledge of god and jesus christ."

The Scripture Reading Pattern

Quote from Romans 15:3-5: "Whenever you read scripture there are two things that god will be releasing in your life first is endurance second is encouragement... If you really take time and focus and read the scriptures what is written you'll be encouraged and you receive grace to endure it's a divine pattern."

Practical Application: "Why is it that many christians are discouraged? They don't read in the scriptures there's no personal effort to read the scriptures for themselves."

The Five C's: Dangers of Departing from Scripture

Destructive Pattern (Comparison → Catastrophe)

  1. Comparison: "Anytime we don't focus on the scripture we start comparing ourselves among each other"
  2. Competition: "Comparison leads to competition... In competition the weakness of your opponent is your advantage"
  3. Contention: "Competition leads to contention... There's fights ill will towards each other"
  4. Chaos: "Contention leads to chaos"
  5. Catastrophe: "Chaos leads to catastrophe... That is why the body of christ is paralyzed we cannot win our world"

Constructive Pattern (Complement → Crowned)

  1. Complement: "Instead of comparing we start complimenting each other... We complement and we commend"
  2. Collaborate: "Instead of contending we collaborate... We cooperate we collaborate"
  3. Construction: "Collaboration and cooperation leads to construction building we build the body of christ"
  4. Completion: "Construction will lead to completion if we keep building each other we'll complete the great commission quickly"
  5. Crowned: "In completing the great commission instead of chaos leading to catastrophe will be crowned there will be crowns will be crowned"

Divine Pattern for Provision: The Garden Blueprint

Eight Essential Principles from Genesis 2:15-25

  1. Purpose: "God only provides for his purpose... Discovering god's purpose and aligning yourself with god's purpose positions you for his provision because he only provides for his purpose."

  2. Place: "God's provision is always linked up to a place... God's allocation is connected to his appointed location... God's appointed location doesn't always look lovely but wait till it delivers the load that it carries from the lord."

  3. Productivity: "We are supposed to produce cultivate... Dress the garden and keep it so when it comes to divine provision the pattern for divine provision there should be productivity."

  4. Protection: "There should also be protection which is preservation... You can produce and produce but if you don't have protection provision will always be a problem because anytime you produce the enemy will steal it."

  5. Permission: "For us to access divine provision we are supposed to be conscious of permission... Those who sought the lord about issues before they took decisions always bumped into supernatural provision."

  6. Precaution: "The day you eat of this fruit you shall surely die... As you mature you discover that the fact that you can do it doesn't mean you should do it... People that have great provision are people that are very very careful in what they do they take a lot of precaution."

  7. Partnership: "The divine pattern for provision always requires partnership... For you to take delivery of all that this garden has to offer you need a suitable helper... Partnership is needed this is the divine pattern for provision."

  8. Participation: "We have a part to play for divine provision to roll out... Participation we are participating god is playing a role we are also playing a role... Laziness somehow some way delays the delivery of divine provision."

Additional Provision Principles

Peace as Foundation

Quote: "Divine provision will be a problem whenever peace is disturbed... In the atmosphere of peace there comes the sister... God provides for adam great support system he never had through an atmosphere of peace... Anytime the devil wants to steal our provision he disturbs the peace."

Planting (Seed Principle)

Quote: "When it comes to divine provision there is always giving you have to plant something... If you want something to enter gain entrance into your life something must exit your life... The harvest for the suitable helper is connected to the rip you are supposed to sow."

Proximity

Quote: "God's provision is always within our reach... Everything you need from god is linked to something very close to you it's not far away... That's proximity of god's provision."

Proclamation

Quote: "You will not take delivery of divine provision if you don't confess if you don't speak something... If you want to see something say something... Your provision is in your mouth what you need from god is in your mouth you speak it."

Perspective/Percipience

Quote: "In taking delivery of provision we need a right perspective... We will have to see treasure in trouble we will have to see in depth we need to have in-depth insight... Percipience means wisdom or sensitive insight."

Positivity

Quote: "You need to be a very positive person... Positivity is critical in the divine provision equation... Whatever is in your hand may not be much it may look like an insult compared to the size of your problem but you need to have this positive perspective."

Ten Essential Life Areas for Divine Patterns

Dr. Blessing outlined ten crucial areas where divine patterns must be discovered and applied:

  1. Propriety - Correctness, conforming to accepted standards
  2. Power - Divine ability to accomplish God's expectations
  3. Provision - God's supply for His vision
  4. Profusion - Abundance, increase, multiplication
  5. Partnership - Divine relationships and collaboration
  6. Protection/Preservation - Security and divine covering
  7. Parenting - Discipling and reproducing after our kind
  8. Predominance - Positive influence and inspiration
  9. Promotion/Progression - Moving from level to level
  10. Prevailing - Victory and conquest
  11. Presentation - God's blueprint for presenting His gifts
  12. Prayer and Praise - Divine patterns for communion with God

The Feeding of 5000: Case Study in Divine Patterns

Dr. Blessing analyzed the multiplication of loaves and fishes (Luke 9:10-17) as a perfect example of divine patterns in action:

All Principles Present: Purpose (kingdom work), Place (remote location), Peace (organized sitting), Proximity (existing resources), Participation (disciples distributing), Planting (boy's lunch), Proclamation (Jesus blessing), Perspective (seeing beyond natural limitations), Positivity (believing small can become much).

Result: "From zero food to a boy's lunch that's progress from a boy's lunch to little pieces in the hands of the disciples and from the little piece to feeding the five thousand that's another movement and from feeding the five thousand having 12 baskets surplus that is provision."

Transformative Promise

Final Declaration: "When divine patterns are disregarded failure is inevitable... If we will succeed as god's children... it will be predicated on divine patterns we have to know it it has to roll out in our lives and there should be a conscious effort each day by the grace of god to stick with divine patterns because then god's predictable possibilities will be our portion."

Personal Application: "I pray tonight that god will help us not only discover the divine pattern that god will secret in us the passion and the power to follow through the divine pattern and that none of us will miss the divine possibilities god has earmarked for our life."

This teaching represents a systematic approach to understanding how God operates through consistent, discoverable patterns that transcend time, place, and circumstances. The emphasis is on practical application rather than mere knowledge, with the ultimate goal of experiencing "predictable possibilities" - the reliable manifestation of God's goodness through following His established methods.
