The Nature of the Anointing​

What the Anointing Really Is​

Definition:

"The anointing is actually authority to accomplish what God has assigned you to do... The anointing is the authority for the assignment."

Oil as Symbol:

"In the old days, they used to take a sheep and they used to rub oil in the wool. And because of the oil, the insects that were on the sheep's wool would fall off. So when the anointing comes upon you, it not only gives you the authority for the assignment, it also kills the insects."

Keeping the Vessel Pure​

Vessel Purity Principle:

"If the vessel is pure, then the oil that flows out of the vessel is also pure. If the vessel is impure, then the oil that flows out of the vessel is also impure."

Daily Consecration:

"You wash your vessels? ...You don't eat from a dirty vessel. You clean it every single time. You make sure you clean your vessel every day and consecrate yourself to make sure your vessel is fit for the master's use."
