Good evening, Truth 100.
My name is Gary Sheng.
I'm an AI engineer.
I'm a movement builder.
But before we talk about the future we're called to build together, I want you to know that I am a lover of hip hop - and that the culture many of you helped create literally saved my life.
Hip hop was the soundtrack of my childhood.
I had no business listening to NWA on my way to school as a nerdy asian kid in Aurora, IL. A nice Chicago suburb.
But hip hop was my fuel.
It was my medicine.
It saved me when people pushed me down.
It made me feel invincible when I needed to feel strong.
There were many days, months, and sometimes years at time during my childhood in which I just didn't want to be alive.
I'm just being honest.
But hip hop saved me.
I cried when I listened Kendrick's To Pimp A Butterfly for the first time.
Kanye's Graduation made me feel like I could do anything I put my mind to.
And years later, it would be Kanye again - this time with Jesus is King - that would change the trajectory of my life forever. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
I would not be here today without hip hop. I mean that.
So thank you for everything.
I am alive and well because of your love, your creativity, and your hustle.
It's a miracle that we're all here tonight.
Looking around this space, I see the Truth 100 - the first 100 called to manifest the greatest revival in human history.
We have culture creators who shaped a generation. Meeting tech innovators. Meeting spiritual leaders. Meeting kingdom builders. Meeting educators who understand that transformation starts with the next generation.
We're normally in our own spheres of influence. But tonight, we're united as the Truth 100 - called together by God for something way bigger than anything we've done before.
You are not here by accident. The relationships you're building tonight will birth the Golden Age that starts with God.
Before I tell you about schools that empower kids to engineer Eden, I need to tell you about my own journey from darkness to light.
You see, I wasn't always a man of faith. I was a former atheist who savagely criticized religion. I grew up thinking faith and reason were like oil and water. I carried my skepticism like a badge of honor.
But even as a skeptic, I had a deep yearning for purpose - seeking it in anything but God. I created a Facebook page called "Woke Folks" that got 800,000 followers and a billion impressions in 2017, inflaming division and generating hatred. I felt so alive generating outrage and chaos. I felt like I was playing, dare I say, God.
But that euphoria crashed when I realized I was only contributing to the madness. I had achieved worldly success - Google job, Forbes 30 under 30 - but there was still an empty void inside. Like having a mansion full of everything you wanted as a kid, but feeling like there's nothing meaningful inside.
Then in 2021, Kanye's Jesus is King hit me like lightning. It was so beautiful that I couldn't help but wonder if it bore the mark of someone divine. Around this time, I met individuals who truly walked their faith - people like my friend Matthew, who works with the Vatican, and Marcus, who devoted his life to Christ by becoming an ordained minister.
Then I experienced a miraculous healing ceremony where I helped someone who couldn't feel their legs for years feel them again for the first time. That experience shook me to my core. I realized that the far greater risk isn't believing in God - the real risk is living as if He doesn't exist.
After my conversion, God began opening doors I never imagined. About one year ago, I was tapped to co-lead the equivalent of DOGE for the Vatican — a top-to-bottom transformation for the Catholic Church spanning 1.3 billion people worldwide.
The team I helped assemble was tasked with revamping their systems for communications, energy, education, evangelization, museums, and archives; as well as architecting their AI and crypto strategies.
It was wild. I was stoked about it.
When I think of why God called me to this, I think of how my great-grandfather was a pastor in China in the 1930s, preaching in secret during persecution. He risked everything for his faith. I was and continue to be willing to do the same.
But on Christmas Day 2024, I received a text that simply said: "Gary, thanks for everything. But it's over."
I could have lost all hope. But I didn't.
Because by the grace of God, I realized something profound: Not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.
This is why I know we are in the middle of what I call a meaning crisis. Those who grew up in this godless society are the collateral damage. And the work we're called to do - transforming education, building the future - it will NOT be won through the flesh.
Human strategies, political connections, and earthly resources will fail us every time. This work can only be accomplished by the Spirit of God.
Every educational reform tried through the flesh has failed. Every infrastructure project built on human pride has crumbled. But what God builds through His Spirit endures forever.
By the Spirit, we move. By the Spirit, we build. By the Spirit, we create breakthrough after breakthrough.
This is how mountains are moved. This is how impossible things become inevitable. Not through the flesh - but through His Spirit.
So why am I talking to you - the Truth 100 - about empowering kids to engineer Eden?
Because the revival we're called to manifest isn't just spiritual - it's about training the next generation to restore God's original design for creation.
Here's the brutal truth: We have a generation that can memorize formulas but can't build a house. They can code apps but can't fix infrastructure. They can get perfect test scores but can't solve the housing crisis that's destroying families.
And here's what broke my heart: Despite all my achievements, I was regularly thinking about ending my life. When your highest purpose is yourself, when you worship your career or status, you will always come up empty. This is why young people are killing themselves at record rates.
The flesh wants to solve this with more government programs, more funding, more committees. But the flesh will fail. It always has.
Truth 100, we're called to something revolutionary: Schools that empower kids to engineer Eden - institutions that don't just teach construction and technology, but teach young people to rebuild the world as God designed it to be.
These aren't trade schools. These are Eden academies where students learn to create cities without crime, energy without pollution, communities without brokenness. Where engineering becomes an act of worship - restoring creation to God's original blueprint.
But here's what I see by the Spirit - and what the Truth 100 is called to birth:
Eden engineers. The next generation who will rebuild paradise on earth. Young people who get hands-on training designing sustainable cities from middle school onward, while being grounded in God's vision for human flourishing.
These aren't just skilled workers. These are restoration specialists - people so Spirit-led and technically excellent that by graduation, they can design cities where families thrive, create energy systems that honor creation, and build communities that reflect heaven's harmony.
They're not just building infrastructure - they're restoring Eden, one project at a time, because they understand both God's heart and His creation's design.
Paradise won't be restored by people who only know theory. Eden won't be rebuilt by those who've never designed a sustainable community or created regenerative energy systems.
The next century belongs to those who can actually engineer Eden - not just talk about it.
And this work - this sacred work of preparing the next generation - it must be done by the Spirit.
By the Spirit of God, we are sealed. By the Spirit, we receive wisdom. By the Spirit, we break through limitations that seem impossible.
The battles are already won in the Spirit. We just need to step into what God has already prepared.
Think about the people in this space. Think about what we will do as a founding family.
You earned your spot in the Truth 100, and now it's time to put our heads together to figure out how we manifest schools that actually prepare kids to build heaven on Earth.
But where does the path to heaven on Earth begin?
It begins with our schools.
And together, by the Spirit, we can transform our school system from a factory worker training system into a nourishing network of incubators for kids to learn how to make sense of the constantly changing world, and make their wildest dreams a reality.
Here's a glimpse of the future we're manifesting by the Spirit:
- Eden academies where kids master both quantum physics and regenerative agriculture
- Schools where students design actual sustainable communities while excelling academically
- Programs where teenagers engineer cities that eliminate homelessness and restore creation
- Institutions that produce graduates capable of building spacecraft, healing the environment, and creating energy systems that serve both humanity and nature
By the Spirit, we see these Eden academies spreading globally. Restoration schools in Texas. In China. In Nigeria. In Brazil. Young people everywhere learning to rebuild paradise.
But we CANNOT do this by human strength alone. The flesh is weak. The flesh will quit when it gets hard. The flesh will compromise when pressured. The flesh will take credit when it should give glory to God.
This work requires the Spirit of God - and the Spirit alone.
By the Spirit, we move. By the Spirit, we build. By the Spirit, we receive the wisdom to create what has never existed before. By the Spirit, we overcome every obstacle the enemy puts in our path.
For the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom - freedom to create beyond human limitations, freedom to build what the flesh said was impossible, freedom to engineer a future that glorifies God and serves humanity.
This will not be won through the flesh. This will only be won by His Spirit.
Truth 100, here's how we activate by the Spirit:
Culture creators - You made building beats iconic. Now make engineering Eden iconic. Show young people that restoring creation is as powerful as creating music.
Kingdom investors - Stop funding more apps. Start funding schools that will train kids to eliminate homelessness, heal the environment, and design communities where families flourish.
Spiritual leaders - Preach that restoration is as sacred as worship. That engineers are as anointed as evangelists. That rebuilding Eden requires actual builders.
Connectors - Find the young people everyone else overlooked. The kids in Compton and East LA who can engineer paradise if someone just gives them the vision and training.
This isn't optional. The Truth 100 was called together for such a time as this. Our assignment is to train the generation that will rebuild Eden.
I've spoken about a lot of things tonight.
But if there's anything you take away, it's that I want you to think bigger than you've ever thought before - and to do it by the Spirit.
You built that company. You won those awards. You achieved that success. That's amazing.
But now it's time to aim way higher - by the Spirit.
It's time to build schools that produce the restorers of Eden itself.
By the Spirit of God, we are called to this work.
One day, I promise you there will be cities designed and built by graduates of Eden academies. Cities without homelessness, communities without pollution, societies that reflect God's original design for paradise on earth.
Think big about how you can contribute to this movement by the Spirit. Then think 1000x bigger. And then 1000x bigger than that.
Truth 100, you're here in Los Angeles - the belly of the beast - because God called you here. You're here to birth revival in the place that shapes global culture.
The battles are already won in the Spirit. We just need to step into what God has prepared.
When kids from East LA graduate from Eden academies and design cities without crime...
When young people choose restoration over entertainment because rebuilding paradise became iconic...
When homelessness ends because we trained a generation that knows how to engineer Eden...
The world will know that the Golden Age started with God.
Truth 100, this is your Damascus road moment. This is your call to restore Eden - not with apps or algorithms, but with regenerative design and the Spirit of the living God.
