Campaign Question Response

Edge City Denver 2024 — a seven-day developer experience alongside the ETHDenver blockchain conference that became a cultural moment for the pop-up cities movement.

I was the lead organizer. We attracted 3,000+ attendees in a heavily competitive event environment. Post-event survey showed 4.6/5 average satisfaction with the majority giving perfect scores.

The campaign goal: Get more tech people to participate in pop-up cities — multi-week gatherings where pioneers across disciplines co-live and co-create together.

What made it impressive: I designed the programming, recruited 50+ speakers, and built the buzz from scratch using content, word of mouth, and on-the-ground energy. Our Edge City Telegram channel became THE nerve center of the entire ETHDenver conference within days. We sold $25K in tickets while competitors struggled to fill free events.

Campaign results: We successfully introduced thousands of people to the pop-up cities concept. We secured partnerships with 7 local businesses and the Colorado Governor toured the event. Most importantly, the pop-up city ecosystem has flourished since this event — what was once a niche concept is now a thriving movement with regular gatherings worldwide.

The campaign demonstrated my core ability: turning emerging technology concepts and niche communities into cultural moments that people can't stop talking about. I identified a timely story (the future of co-living and co-creation), developed compelling messaging, executed across multiple channels, and secured the media and executive engagement that amplified the narrative to mass market.
