Michael, thanks for the great call today brainstorming Applied AI Society x AITX collaboration.

Jake, wanted to loop you in on what we discussed. And overall centralize coordination moving forward on this email thread.

What we discussed:

  • Applied AI Society x AITX partnership for 2026 would be about co-hosting events that fill the "practical business application" niche, with engineers and new grads as main audience, and business owners / people in industry as the second audience
  • First event format: workshop-style with 1) case study presentation + 2) live solution architecting for a real business problem
  • Would be co-branded and co-hosted via Luma, with AITX promoting to your community
  • Future ideas like Million Dollar Weekend hackathon concept, hackathons where businesses bring real problems, potential SXSW / Austin Tech Week events

Timing: Jan 15th didn't work (Antler offsite), but Jan 29th works for Travis Oliphant who I'd like to share a few words. I hear Jake that you may be away but we'll have coverage from Allie and Michael.
