How to Live a Good Life

Truisms for the ambitious Christian

Your job is to make disciples. That's it.

Make heaven as crowded as you can.

Some are called to fivefold ministry. Most are not.

Most are called to marketplace ministry—doing something Christ-aligned that adds value to the kingdom while creating liquidity for kingdom activities.

Real estate. Technology. Media. Education. Whatever your gifts are.

You are one-of-one.

God created you uniquely to step into a particular calling. A divine path crafted just for you.

The ultimate vocation is the one God picked for you.

Step into the role God crafted for you, and you will be provided for.

Not a guarantee of how much. But a guarantee of enough.

God will be your co-founder.

He will put the desires of your heart on your heart. But you won't know exactly how to get there at the beginning.

The path reveals itself as you walk it.

It takes time to discern your calling.

Find spiritual mentors. In person. Especially when you're young.

You can come to faith later in life. But a spiritual internship early? That's a cheat code.

Be obedient. That's the whole thing.

Stay in prayer. Stay in obedience. Keep the faith.

Don't give up.

Let the Holy Spirit fill you. Let the Holy Spirit lead you.

Kingdom connections come to those who don't give up.

Your friends should add to your faith.

If they don't, they're not friends you should keep.

Take back territory from the devil.

Bring as many people as possible to salvation.

Create the conditions for others to do the same.

Over time, you become more and more exactly what God wants you to be.

That's the good life.
